Get ready to elevate your game with Ice Hawks Summer Skills, led by Tyler Elbrecht and the expert instructors from Elite Hockey. This on-ice training series is designed to sharpen core skills, build confidence, and challenge players in a fun, high-tempo environment.

Players will be divided by skill level within each class time to ensure the right pace and development for everyone.

When: Wednesday nights, May 13 – June 24 (no class May 27)
Where: McKendree Metro Rec Plex
Who: 6U–16U players with previous playing experience (or proficient skaters)
Cost: $215
Goalies: Free

Group Time
6U / 8U 6:00 PM
10U / 12U 7:15 PM
14U / 16U 8:30 PM

Note: Players are grouped by skill level within each time slot. If enrollment requires adjustments, time slot assignments may be updated to best fit the overall group.

WHAT TO EXPECT
  • High-repetition skill development (skating, puck control, passing, shooting)
  • Small-area games and competitive drills
  • Game-speed decision making and confidence building
  • Players grouped by skill for maximum development
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What time will my player’s class be?
Groups are assigned by age level (6U/8U, 10U/12U, 14U/16U). Within each time slot, players will be divided into skill-based groups.
Can a brand-new player register?
This program is intended for players with previous playing experience or proficient skaters. If you have not played before but still wish to participate, please email HockeyOps@icehawkshockey.org before registering.
Are goalies included?
Goalies are encouraged to participate in and may sign up free of charge. Please do know that these sessions do not include dedicated goalie instruction.
