Ice Hawks Stick and Puck and Pond Hockey
Program Information

Stick and Puck sessions are non-coach-led ice times. These sessions are for players to work on their skills and have fun with their friends in an open environment.

This is not a time to lay on the ice or horse around.

Equipment Requirements

  • Full equipment is heavily recommended
  • Helmet with cage, gloves, and skates are required
  • No shorts allowed

6U–10U Participants

6U–10U Stick and Puck participants are allowed to have one adult on the ice with them. Helmets and skates must be worn by the adult.

This is also a time to work with your player on their skills, not a time for adults to practice their own shot.

Please be mindful of the other players on the ice.

Stick and Pucks/Pond Hockey

Stick and Pucks are ice times provided by the club  for Ice Hawk or Lady Hawk  players to work on their individual skills.    These are not coach led ice times.

Full equipment is not required for stick and pucks, but Helmets must be worn at all times! No Shorts!!

Pond Hockey is an ice time for kids to simply play hockey for the love of the game.

Players will split into teams and jump right into playing — giving them the chance to have fun with friends, be creative, make their own decisions, and figure things out just like kids would playing hockey on a pond.

There are no drills and no structured coaching — just hockey, fun, and the opportunity to enjoy the game in a relaxed environment.

Full equipment is required for all participants. Messing around, unsafe behavior, or poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated. Let's keep it fun, competitive, and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Please only sign your child up if they are going to use this time to work on skills, not sit on the bench or lay on the ice.
