Lady Hawks Girls Learn To Play Program
Learn the fundamentals of playing hockey alongside of other girls.
When: July 10th - August 14th
Time: 7-7:50 pm
Cost:$100
Player must be able to move around the ice unassisted. A prior learn to skate class is recommended
Full equipment is required
Jersey is provided for first time Ice Hawk learn to play participants.
Ages
Girls at least 5-19 years old
*highly encouraged to have completed at least one year of Learn-to-Skate or Little Blues prior.*
Rosters
Girls hockey is rapidly growing in Southern Illinois and the Ice Hawks are working to increase female participation and generate top level female hockey players. Our goal for the upcoming season is to field as many all-girls teams as possible within the SIIH designated zip codes.

- Can my daughter play for an all-girls team and a co-ed team?
- YES! Girls can be rostered with the Ice Hawks on an all-girls team (if available) and a co-ed team.
- Do I have to live in a zip code assigned to Southern Illinois Ice Hawks?
- As we have done in the past, we will have co-ed teams. Girls are and always have been welcome to play for the SIIH.
